Set on on Titan

Alarm: Spoilers

This is the biggest anime serial to debut in 2013 in more means than 1! Fix in a by where what is left of humanity is forced to live within three protective walls while giants known equally Titans roam exterior eating everyone they catch. Those inside the walls have grown complacent, taking their safety for granted… then ane day a giant Titan appears and smashes the outer wall. The others flood in and start killing the fleeing people inside.

One who gets away is series protagonist Eren Yeager although he sees his female parent being devoured and promises that i day he volition kill all of the Titans. To that end he enrols in the military along with his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackerman and his best friend Armin Arlert. When they are virtually to graduate from their preparation class another behemothic Titan appears and it looks equally though another wall is going to fall. In the ensuing battle many people are killed and shockingly Eren is eaten by a Titan! Something strange then happens; another giant Titan appears merely instead of fighting humanity it starts killing other Titans… it turns out this giant is Eren! Somehow he has the ability to transform into a Titan; some people think he could be used to save humanity but others think he is a danger that must be destroyed.

It wasn't long into the season that information technology became apparent this was going to be the most high profile series of the year. No time was wasting in over-explaining what was going on and we were rapidly thrown in to the brutal action. Given that this is a shonen rather than seinen serial I was a little surprised at but how cruel it was. There are numerous bloody deaths right from the showtime which will probably earn it a xv certificate when it gets its Britain DVD release. The way nosotros are thrown into the activeness got me gripped quickly and each week I looked forward to seeing how the story would develop. The action is animated in a fashion that gives the impression of constant movement, especially when the characters are swinging between buildings or trees with their steam powered 'maneuver gear'. This makes it exciting. The fairly large cast of characters are worth caring about which gives an emotional hitting when ones are killed. If there is a flaw it is that Eren is rather annoying in many of the early episode; constantly angry but achieving little… thankfully his character matures somewhat one time the real action starts. As the final episode approached it was articulate that there would either exist a rushed ending or another serial… the conclusion pointed to the latter which should please the vast majority of fans; I know I'm looking forward to seeing more of this exciting series.

These comments are based on watching the serial in Japanese with English subtitles.

Warning: Spoilers

I finally got to sentinel this properly and honestly, I effing beloved the theme song! I'm a lot more obsessed with this season's theme song so the other ii seasons afterwards information technology. I even honey the characters as well, I think Levi,Eren, Mikasa and Hange are one of the best likeable characters in this anime that I've always come across!

Glad I got a risk to see this anime, 8/10 i give information technology!

Great animation and activity

This serial has a lot of well blithe action sequences that grip you. The settings and characters feel very detailed and y'all never know how things volition turn out. My just complaint is that it takes a while for the story to option upwardly.

Good enough

Warning: Spoilers

Existence someone who actually kind of liked the live action movies, it was simply impossible for me not to like the actual affair. I thing that Set on on Titan has it going for it is the whole mythology behind the primary plot. In that location is a huge base of information layered down so that the actual story to flourish. Plus, the action scenes are enough to continue it interesting till the very ending. Another plus was the fact that some episodes could keep you at the edge of your seat, similar when that female titan appeared. Yous just want to keep watching. To both of them, the soundtrack helped a lot, especially the opening theme, edifice up the mood for something epic. Finally, the characters were really likable and y'all couldn't aid but empathize with all of them. And now the negative points. Flavour one had some boring episodes, but fortunately, season two had just some boring parts here and at that place. However, season two had less episodes with the main characters, which was kind of abrasive. You desire to meet Eren more than merely a few seconds in an episode. But that's just me. Also, the art kind of didn't settle with me. Mikasa looked like the male characters, merely with the improver of long hair. Only, in the action scenes they did a groovy job, so at to the lowest degree that worked. Also, the titans got worse in season 2, weirder in a style, but that could accept been simply a story thing. Then, overall, 8 out of ten.

Titanic "Assault on Titan"

Alarm: Spoilers

It'south true - every great thing I've ever heard about the Japanese Anime' series "Assault on Titan" is true. A friend of mine recommended this serial to me a while dorsum, and I finally just got effectually to watching the outset one-half of the first season on DVD. I can only hope information technology gets meliorate from here.

In the year 845 in the distant future (?), mankind is at war with the Titans, massive humanoid creatures of unknown origin, are of varying size and strength, and who appear to possess very lilliputian in the way of intelligence - however share a ravenous appetite for human being flesh. The remnants of human civilization have barricaded themselves behind massive walled cities equally their only grade of defence force against the Titans, who attack at random and seemingly without any thought or purpose.

At the offset of the series, over a hundred years have passed without a major assail from the Titans. But that relative peace is shattered when ane day a massive new breed of Titan called a "Colossal" smashes through the walls of the southern city of Shinganshina. In Shinganshina, we're introduced to 3 babyhood friends - Eren Jaeger, his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackermann, and their mutual friend Armin Arlert. During the attack, Eren witnesses his mother being devoured by one of the creatures.

Two years later (and in using an important plot bespeak bearing similarity to Robert A. Heinlein'south "Starship Troopers"), the iii and then enlist in the military to assist fight in the state of war against the Titans. Past the time they graduate from the military university in the yr 850 and have joined the fight to salvage humanity, Mikasa proves to be the almost physically skilled at killing Titans (who despite their apparent resistance to physical injury and tend to regenerate apace from whatsoever wounds they do sustain in battle, do take ane weak spot on the back of their cervix). Armin is the weakest of the iii, yet is later revealed to be an expert battlefield strategist and tactician. And lastly, in that location's the wild-carte of Eren Jaeger, who is presently revealed to accept a unique ability that may simply help plow the tide of the war against the Titans in favor of humanity.

"Attack on Titan" is adjusted from the acknowledged, critically acclaimed Japanese Manga series of the aforementioned name created by Hajime Isayama and published by Kodansha in Japan. This is one of the most gripping, thrilling, and harrowing Anime' series I've seen in a long while. Mayhap the near credit belongs to series director Tetsuro Araki, who was as well behind the superior "Death Note" and "Highschool of the Dead" (the latter of which I never saw, but have already read the original Manga).

"Attack on Titan" places many unlike elements into the mix, from horror, to nighttime fantasy, to the post-apocalyptic thriller, to the futuristic war film. "Assail on Titan" is also not an Anime' series for young children. The serial is quite gruesome in its depiction of violence - against humans and Titans alike - and there's lots of claret. Withal in spite of what I just wrote, the series is admirably restrained in its depiction of the most graphic carnage - preferring to leave such things to the imagination of the viewer.

Some have compared "Attack on Titan" as existence Japan's equivalent to the American TV horror series "The Walking Dead" (which I besides adore). I tin honestly run across some of the comparisons, since both "Attack on Titan" and "The Walking Dead" possess gripping characters and story-lines. Despite the vastly different subject matter, both series practise ultimately depict a bleak futurity for humanity in the face up of certain apocalyptic doom. Withal in spite of it all, in both series there is a faint glimmer of hope, and a instance is made for humanity's continued survival (if not to go along to remain the dominant species left on Earth).

I can say that "Attack on Titan" does take a new fan in this thoroughly impressed viewer. I can't await to run into the second one-half of season one.

ten/x

P.Due south.: The opening theme song - "Guren no Yumiya" (literally translated from Japanese as "Crimson Bow And Arrow")/"Feuerroter Pfeil Und Bogen" (German spelling) - by Linked Horizon is one of the almost thrilling opening songs I've ever heard in a Japanese Anime' series. Too bad information technology's not used throughout the whole series (my only serious gripe so far)...

Bully animation and activeness; poor characters

This anime is seriously overrated. The action and animation are truly amazing, merely the characters are ane-dimensional and fifty-fifty annoying at times. Worth watching for the action, but is nevertheless pretty flawed.

Greatest Anime

Review By Kamal Thou

Story 10/10

It continunes few days later on where we left off last season and information technology focuses more than on political drama and dilemmas inside the walls. This season gets straight to the betoken and introduces new villain named Kenny that turns out to be somehow related to Levi. In that location are many parties trying to get Eren and Historia. For what reason? It is all the same to be reveald. Mystery we all experience in honey with is still there and there are even more than questions, but don't let that distract you from the fact that this season ,fifty-fifty tho is only few episodes in, already has some major reveals in information technology. Pacing is astonishing and i wasn't bored for a moment while watching. Things are only getting more interesting when Erwin reveals how he's planning to ovethrow the governmant without using the force. This season has a very refreshing and different plot compared to previous ones as we can run across from the lack of titans and focuse on the problems within the walls rather than beyond. However it's still as, if not more interesting than before. At that place is world buidling, mystery, back stabbing and some major questions answered which in that location is hopfully more to come.

Animation ten/ten

As we can encounter characters in this flavor wait a little bit different or older which some might non similar just i do personally. It'south a fresh change. They look closer to their manga designes. Some might notice that they removed those thick black lines around characters faces which fabricated AOT art stand out even more than. Don't get me wrong, it still does only that was something that was missing which kept me from giving it 10/10. Animation is brilliant for this flavour (it's Attack on Titan after all :D) and similar every season it only got better. . Perfect combination between 3D background and second animation along with masterfull photographic camera motion made this scene look like a movie. At that place is even one frame where levi is facing the wall and yous can see his reflection in the window. Just goes to show how much item and time was put in to this scene. After i done some research i found out that it took the animator of this scene 1 whole month to complete it. Just that one scene alone. All props to Arifumi Imai. Peachy task. Hopfully it keeps this quality because this season is said to be 24 episodes long.

Sound 10/x

I mean, is there annihilation to say? AoT is notorious for information technology's amazing OST and sound quality. Vocalisation actors are great as e'er and the sound that stand out to me the about was the audio of falling crush from kenny on the roof in ep.1. It was just and then satisfying :D. And again mad props to Hiroyuki Sawano (the composer) for the ballsy and emotional music.

Characters 10/10

What i similar about AoT characters is the fact that they interact so naturally and nothing from their conversation seems forced which is immediately showcased in the very first scene in ep. 1. That cabin scene where jean and eren argue, sasha tries to steal staff of life, mikasa withal does piece of work even tho she'due south injured and armin cares for her securely. And of grade Levi the make clean freak comes in at the cease :p They are such fun and lively characters. This flavor already had some major development for our cast. We got to see Erwin'south and Hisotira'south backstories which besides delved deeper in their characters motives. Both backstories were heartbreaking and made me care a lot more for them. Hisotira is slowly taking of her "Christa Lenz" facade (is that how yous say it? lol) and Erwin is proving again and again why everyone loves him and would follow him to decease. His babyhood story is very like to how our gild and governmant wokrs today which is very scary. And nosotros all need to retrieve that isayama is criticizing this type of regime and gild with these topics. Instead of but walking of Erwin comes back to Dimo Rivees's wife and comforts her proverb he'll avange him. Erwin is charismatic, nifty leader, intellignet and someone that you just desire to follow. Since the young age he was corious and equally he call himself a "gambler". He is someone that would give everything for the humanity. Or is he? I think there is a lot more to his graphic symbol. Hange got some evolution too. Eren is maturing and seems a lot more chill this flavor only unfortunately he is kiddnaped again :( Poor guy he just tin can't catch a intermission. In ep.one he helps historia to overcome here pain and shows again but how honest he is past telling her "I similar y'all more than this manner, merely a stupidly normal honest girl". Too hugeee evolution for armin. To think that he would be capable of killing a human.. this volition deffinitely accept a huge impact on his graphic symbol in the future. The manner he selfreflects and his philosohpical speach about morals is great, it really makes you think. He kinda has a betoken too. He shows one more time how mentally strong he is even tho he lacks physicial forcefulness. This time is but on another level. Now lets talk nearly our new villain. KENYYYYYYYYYYY. I love this guy lol. The way he roasts and insults levi and the cowboy vibe he gives. I love it. He immediately showcases that he is not a joke by blowing nifa'southward head off but like that. He likewise seems very mysterious. The fashion he treats levi is almost as if he looks downwards upon him. Speaking of Levi here is what i recollect: That chase scene where he's running away from kenny is not just a great activity sequence it also represents Levi running from his by. Kenny=His by. Running from kenny or his past. This arc is also big development and challange for him now that he has to act as a leader/commander because erwin is absent or busy. There was also some smaller developments for connie (motivating himself to have on the beast titan),jean (struggling to remain human which most costs him life, also selfreflecting), sanes (showing how he didn't desire to do the things that he has washed and over the time he just got used to it, also he was kinda easy to symphatise with likewise and his devotion to rex is may be morally wrong but aslo admirable, the manner he feels destroyed after finding out that he was really the i that betrayed the king is as well worth mentioning), flegel (stepping up becoming a boss maxim how he'll protect the people of his metropolis), zachary (showcasing that he cares more than virtually himself rather than humanity and how he always hated the governmant because they looked upwardly on everyone).

Enjoyment 10/10

I never enjoyed AoT more than. Information technology'due south great. This season has perfect balance between story telling, character development and action.

assault on titan

Excellent anime and the story is interesting. The animation and drawing in the anime are amidst the all-time. Most of the principal characters were expert, unlike the side characters such as Erwin Smith, who was the best character in the anime. The story branched out considerably after in the 3rd season. I am very excited for the fourth flavour

EMOTIONAL

FOR Flavor three (x/10)

The start half of the third season of "Assail on Titan" was a bit disappointing. Featuring politics and a lot of necessary backstory that mainly focused on Historia and the origins of Titans, it felt like a 12-episode story that could take been told with half dozen-8 episodes. However, what Part 1 lacked, Office 2 more than over compensated with its activeness packed episodes, a sure, depressing decision that Captain Levi had to make, and that emotional ending.

A Bloody Good Time

Attack on Titan, in example you haven't heard, is known for being extremely violent and over-the-superlative, and I like information technology that way. But Assail on Titan gets it spot-on.

The show isn't actually plot based, it's graphic symbol and activity driven. Certain, at that place is a plot, simply it never goes much deeper than: "Kill the titans and salvage the globe!" All the same, it nevertheless manages to be interesting and very exciting to sentry.

The characters are extremely well done. With the exception of some platitude characters (all of whom manage to fit into the universe perfectly), they're all interesting to witness. Why? Despite the lack of coincidental chat, every graphic symbol feels real. This might exist considering every character has an original and unique blueprint, making them feel real, or because they each manage to distinctly tell the audience who they are and what their like only past stating a few sentences. When the actual fighting starts, you've barely met the cast and yet you've fallen in love with them. It'south articulate from the get-become that every character has bonded with the others, making the relationships experience a lot more existent right off the bat too.

The action is epic. The fights are, although not the most realistic or perhaps constructive in terms of titan murder, very intense. But the action doesn't really feel overdone, in fact, information technology's actually quite realistic (and pretty tame if you lot ask me). Every character is expendable, and could die at whatsoever given moment. When they practice dice, it'south vicious and volition make you cry. I almost did every time, but I'm not an emotional person to begin with. Whether you know a character or not, you find you care well-nigh them because no i deserves every bit grisly a death as the ones received.

Overall Attack on Titan really is a slap-up show. It's fast-paced and realistic, despite being a fantasy. If you lot like blood and gore equally much as I do, then look no farther then Attack on Titan.

Wore out my FF push

Warning: Spoilers

Any civilization that can construct such gigantic walls, hundreds of miles long, surely possesses the technology to wipe out the titans; unless I missed it, this is never explained. The graphics are striking, especially the activity sequences, and you never quite get used to the titans' facial expressions; they look like bored people waiting for a coach, which is all the more discomforting when they casually pop a human being in their mouth. About that FF push: there are long, long sequences of character development dialogue that could have been shortened considerably in order to tighten the storyline; sometimes this development goes on for several episodes in a row. The classic escalating argument/make it at a conclusion storytelling armature is rather stretched to its practical limits, and repeats itself many times during the course of the show, long afterward your patience is exhausted. The unabridged female titan story arc is rather thrilling and suspenseful, and the payoff is worth the investment of time. Eren can't speak without screaming, so I had to turn my volume way downwardly whenever his face pops upwardly. The whole 3d maneuvering device thing was pretty absurd. Overall I loved this series, well what I've seen of it so far, and I'll go along watching.

It's a neat show but very frustrating in parts.

There's a lot of dialog that stops the activeness and the main character Eren is quite a footling baby through virtually of it. Very overhyped show. Falls into a lot of the anime cliches that continue me away from most anime. Has its moments though.

Freaky serial

Alert: Spoilers

Okay, if you want to come across a series of the utmost strangeness this is it. A town or village is wrapped up like a cocoon behind a 50 meter wall made of strong cement and concrete. Exterior of these walls are individuals who walk around naked one quarter of the height of these walls. What always they are, they look humanoid, but with an appetite for homo mankind. For the by 100 years, the walls have kept the village rubber until one fateful day the secretive Titans every bit they are chosen appeared to suspension down the wall then that the walking demons could have their fill up. And these titans are higher than the wall itself. Now a boy named Eren, vowed revenge against them for having his mother eaten by i of the demons in front of him while on the run with his friend Mikasa and Hanne. This horrible dream for which the people themselves feared had come up true, a reality that not all walls tin can hold back an enemy no thing the size. Even water drops over a hundred years tin can pause a wall. At present exterior of the walls, Eren must become part of the military with very limited weapons to help their cause. But more often than not, the soldiers themselves cannot find out where or when these titans arrived to crusade then much despair and terror. This series is not for the feint of heart, it contains a expert amount of gore as well as horror scenes which will curl your hair. I take to say this is one for the books, I have seen all sorts of horror but this serial looks very, very interesting. I would have to say anyone over 18 can sentinel it. Under that historic period volition give kids nightmares. One of the most original serial to date. Highly recommended to those who like this genre.

A vicious world..

The first anime I ever watched was way back in 2019. I never really was intersted in anime at that time and I thought information technology was for weirdos and fiddling kids for some reason ( I was an idiot back and then don't make fun of me). Only yous know I decided to give a shot cuz everything deserves a first chance and and so I decided to watch information technology going for low expectations. In less than v eps this anime completely changed me, I was in consummate awe. It became my favorite anime of all time. And even later watching a bunch of new and former animes such equally Fullmetal, Neon Genesis, and Cowboy Bepop , it still is my favorite! , starting time fourth dimension is the amuse for me I estimate. Now I regret watching it every bit my kickoff anime because you know why?! Cuz barely any other animes I take watched lived up to it's tremendous expectations!

Its one of the most unique and consistent animes of all time. Information technology has brilliant worldbuilding that is extensive and detailed. Such every bit giants that consume humans, humanity being within iii massive walls, the use of factions such every bit the Survey Corps and Armed services Constabulary, and the soldiers use what is called a 3d manuever gear that to take down those giants. And this is just scratching the surface, there's so much more than meets the eyes. The temper, the buildup, and the plotline were cleverly executed. And is surprisingly placidity funny without barely even trying at times. There are quiet alot of themes and meanings to this anime such as the potent preying on the weak, the world beingness a cruel place, and abandoning your humanity to acheive something greater. I of the all-time elements of this anime is it's unpredictability. Unexpected deaths, outcomes in a fight, shockers etc. Your mouth volition be broad open and dragging across the floor for the next 24 hours. But with whatsoever testify or movie cipher is perfect. Information technology does have pacing inconsistencies and small flaws mainly in season 1 with some flashbacks and monologuing. Season 3 Part one was a double edged sword. It provided us with a lot of human conflicts and and added some answers to our questions merely lacked in any titan battles whatever. Nontheless even the worst season in AOT would exist considered 99% times ameliorate than virtually seasons in other animes.

The characters are absolutely amazing, I'm sure you volition like them the instant you meet them. Yous got the 3 musketeers which consists of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin. Eren is this brash little kid who would charge into anything fifty-fifty if it meant his decease, he isn't the hero in this story, he isn't a graphic symbol that your suppose to like, but his development was absoloutely brilliant, Eren Season 1 and Eren Flavour 4 are 2 completely different people, the innocence of him gone forever. At that place's Mikasa, Eren'southward right hand girl since she is the only friend/family she has always known other than Armin. She has quiet a tragic backstory and seems to take a flawless personality. Eren is Mikasa's life. Armin, he is the character that is the nearly poised. He is really smart and has a strong sense of innocence throughout the seasons. Only he isn't perfect, he was always nervous and frightened in dangerous situations for nearly of the seasons. What I like about him is that he knows the rights and wrongs without any biases. His development is probably the most interesting out of the show other than Eren. Now here are a couple of the "primary" supporting characters. Levi, humanity'due south strongest soldier, he's cunning, dangerous, and somehow funny without fifty-fifty trying, I know alot of AOT fans adore him. At present there's Hange and Sasha, they are both nutcases. Their funny personailities completely mirrors each other except for a few small-scale traits hither and there. Now I can proceed and on how great the characters are in AOT just information technology's better if you lot watch it.

The visuals were pretty practiced. The grapheme designs, the 9 titans, the use of mood furnishings of shadow, how the globe looked such as the 3 main walls, the landscapes, the towns etc. And as time goes on how characters faces and bodies change. Though the CGI didn't exactly mesh in with the residual of the hand draw animation and lacking a tiny bit of clarity but certainly does become amend for each season. Also the directing and camera work were perfect. The music was amazing. The vocals are absolute bonkers though they are barely used in season 3 and four. The choir really helped with the temper and the the employ of the instruments were brilliant. The songs used were decent, just lacked a flake of energy. And the intros and outros for each season were legendary!

Overall a very very enjoyable series. Fifty-fifty with all the obstacles that they had to overcome such as upkeep, express fourth dimension, and getting a studio to accept them. Its one of the best animes of all fourth dimension, no doubt! Nothing in this anime is short of only excellent! Defintion of you have to see it to believe it! Information technology will forever exist in my heart. Unique, intense, and absolutely gorgeous! Everything I ever wanted in an anime..

Memorable: YES Rewatchable: YES for the rest of my life..

Squeamish action

I've simply seen the offset season but it was my first Always anime apart from stuff like Pokemon you know. The action and such was done incredibly well and at that place is character development for all the other characters that aren't the main character. Still, it took so long for the 2d flavour to come out that by the fourth dimension it did I wasn't even watching anime whatsoever more than.

Flawed? Yes. Fun? Definitely.

Warning: Spoilers

I'll acknowledge that I wasn't going to check this evidence out to begin with. I had been disillusioned with Anime for a good period of fourth dimension since the early 2010s; I didn't have anything confronting it but for a while it was all starting to seem the same to me. I guess years of being into Anime can practise that to you plus the massive amount of shows you check out. So fifty-fifty the cool costumes I was seeing at conventions weren't enough to persuade me to check the evidence out, and even the sparkly text and histrionics almost this supposedly being the "Game of Thrones" of anime could. But a calendar week ago or so, my resistance finally reached a breaking betoken and I plant myself on Netflix scrolling for twenty minutes direct looking for something to watch. After several minutes direct of trying to resist its pretty looking poster, I gave upward and began watching it. And to my surprise, my low expectations were immediately exceeded with its gripping opening scene and I had gotten up to 8 episodes that night before heading to bed, finishing the show 2 days afterward

I'll get the bad things about this show out of the style first, because there are quite a few of them: For 1, the pacing is incredibly slow. I realize this isn't anything new in anime and DBZ had been the king of tedious pacing, and thankfully it isn't a bother most of the time, just at that place are moments when its anime-ness begin to shine through- extended imagine spots and entire conversations did get rather frustrating. There are a few episodes that exercise rely on the characters not knowing what'due south on the outside of the wall, to the betoken where it causes the characters to human action stupid at times. But so there is also the subplot where Eren becomes a Titan afterward being swallowed by one, and with a simple gnaw on his hand, can become a titan at will. In that location are a few situations that could exist solved past him becoming a Titan, but he doesn't. In some situations it'due south event but in others information technology'south frustrating. And lastly the ending is a bit of a cop-out. I know it had to happen only even still it was somewhat unsatisfying

But like whatever patient viewer I didn't let these spoil the testify and but sat back and appreciated information technology for what information technology was: a stunning piece of storytelling and visual mastery. For all its flaws, at that place were enough loftier points to tiresome them; be it some rather unexpected twists in the stories or even simply the few moments where you can just sit and appreciate the visual beauty. In addition, the action scenes are truly fantastic and well done; information technology'due south been ages since there have been activity sequences this heady in anime. Information technology'due south always a joy watching the gas tanks shoot steam and watching the characters fly at full strength of one of the titans to set on it. And the characters; the first time I've felt whatsoever attachment of whatever kind to the characters. Part of them is that none of them are written to be perfect and all take their flaws; there'due south a sense of moral ambiguity in each and every piece of character development. Information technology was e'er interesting watching Eren try to balance out the power of being able to go a titan at will and the responsibility that should be exercised; for a major plot point spent on a female titan, he is faced with the option of condign a titan killing the other titan, or letting his friends fight. Of grade, he realizes the hard fashion that both decisions have consequences- it's the moments like this that brand Attack on Titan a wholly satisfying experience

Attack on Titan is flawed no doubt, but bear with it- watching it is a truly rewarding experience. Sure, go for the badass costumes and epic activeness sequences, but stay for the grand scale storytelling and the visual luminescence. Even despite the flaws, information technology's clear that Set on On Titan's creators have poured nothing simply honey into it. It's fun to watch and is very interesting, only it as well has parallels to Japanese state of war history and fifty-fifty throws some unexpected curveballs as a overnice bonus. While I'k not sure my enjoyment is plenty to have gotten me back into anime as a whole (though that "Knights of Sidonia" show does expect awesome), I tin say that you can count me as a supporter and a fan and while it is a shame we take to wait for a year to see the adjacent flavour, I'thousand excited to see where this show goes next

Listen Blowing!!

The show conveys every emotion well, making it easy for fans to get attached to the characters. With decease around every corner, you can hear the fear and sadness the characters feel.

Even bad-mannered situations - similar the embarrassment of telling your crush how you feel - are well captured in the show. You can't aid only sympathize with the characters because they seem and so human. Paired with the high level of character development, you truly build a strong bond with your favorite characters.

Overall, there is very little to mutter about the evidence other than the fact information technology is ending. It is worth all the sleepless nights and elevated stress levels incurred with every episode. Even if y'all are not a fan of action-packed shows, you lot will even so capeesh the drama and suspense built into every episode. The but people I would not recommend it to are squeamish people or anyone that has a big exam they need to study for.

My god

This series is really ahead of its time, its brilliant and its definitely the all-time boob tube show ive ever watched in my life. The fact that it has an imdb of eight.8 is a disgrace, it deserves way amend than that especially afterward the glorious season 3 function 2. This anime is way amend than rick and morty, way meliorate than even game of thrones, simply the ppl in charge of imdb give information technology a way lower ratings than those two?......balls. This anime deserves a lot more than respect.

The Greatest Animanga of all Time

Assault on Titan is king at world building and story. With ultra realistic consequences missing from a lot of animation, Assault on Titan stands out equally it has an incredibly dark world with really stakes. The aspects of horror and adrenaline when there's an activeness scene is stellar. The characters, action and music could carry episodes only don't have to because the show is already that good. Characters accept depth and feel similar real people, they die constantly and never experience 100% safe. The action is some of the all-time action in any show. Mystery aspects make even moments that could come off every bit banal experience so much more impactful. This is perhaps one of the best stories always written. The Music makes this epic world feel vast and important, while also sounding phenomenal. Attack on Titan is a masterpiece of our generation and my favorite TV Show of all time.

A thrilling, activity-paced anime, with alot of middle.

Backstory Review: This show is fantastic, just let me requite you a footling backstory on my opinian with anime.. Sonic 10 was the first anime I always watched. I was 7 years old and loved information technology, just it didn't actually get me into anime. I then started watching the Beyblade Metal Saga and liked it, merely once again, that didn't get me into anime. After seeing alot of youtube videos and hearing people become on and on about this show, I decided to requite it a shot. It was the teens react video that got me to watch this testify. And right from the opening scene, I knew deep down that this show was going to exist amazing and I was right. Later on watching the first season dorsum in 2014, I decided to cheque other animes out and give them a sentry. These were Naruto, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchimist Alliance, Hunter X Hunter, Bleach,, Erased, Cowboy Bebop, Sword Art Online, Durama, Gunslinger Daughter, Black Lagoon, My Hero Academia and now only recently, Black Clover. Some of these shows were actually really good. I actually liked Erased, Death Note, Full Metal Alliance, and Naruto, minus the filler. Only later on rewatching the Set on on Titan anime in subbed, I was truly shocked to detect out that despite all the animes I accept seen, Assault on Titan is yet the best.

Anime Review: Set on on Titan is well-nigh humanity existence surrounded by big stone walls that go on out titans. However, the largest titan humanity has ever seen has destroyed the walls and all hell breaks lose. The lead character, Eren Jeager vows to kill all the titans afterward they destroyed his hometown and together with his babyhood freinds Armin Arlet and Mikasa Ackerman, join tthe 104th Scouts and eventually the survey corps. WHat this shows does is that it starts off peacefull and normal, having the same tropps from regualr anime and flips it on it's head. The true horror and brutallity these titans cause will give you lot nightmares. The plot maybe simple, but it is exucuted in a manor that is unthinkabale, in a brilliant way. The shows is perhaps the only prove I have seen in anime were the supporting cast are just equally interesting and likable than the chief. All with their own story to tell. The animation and visuals are the best I take seen in anime boob tube seires. The soundtrack is amazing ans well as the vocalism acting. I will admit that I did start off this testify watching it in english dub, as that was how I always watched anime. But 4 years afterward, I decided to rewatch the whole testify in japanese in fourth dimension for season 3 and I must say that the original japanese voice acting enhances the Set on on Titan experiance. The english dubbing isn't half bad. I felt like, at offset that the english voice worked bette ron the characters than the japoanese voice, particuallty Eran, Armin and Mikasa. Only watching information technology in japanese, throughout, I can saftely say and recommned you sentinel this prove in Japanese with english subtitles. I found out that some lines and dialogue can come up accros 'cringy' and 'screechy' in english language but it doesn't feel that way in japanese. Information technology feels very natural. But you tin can decide which is better.

Conclusion: I know that this is a very long review, but II could have talked for hours on why you demand to watch this show, but I don't desire to spoil and then much. All I can say without spoiling the show is that " not all is what it seems to be". The shows goes in completely different directions that I orignannly thogut that I idea I was going mad. The plot thickens equally you go deeper and deeper. After You lookout man season 1, 2 and the new flavour iii, read the manga becuase the plot thikens even more and you lot don't want to exist spoiled. Overall, a brutally beautiful anime, with stunning visuals, a stella cast, both japanese and english language and has posibly the all-time soundtrack in an anime, with wondeful editing. I thank the autor and writer of Attack on Titan, Hajime Isayama for writhgn this brutally beautiful serial and the director of the anime, Tetsuro Araki for directing this and the onscreen author, Yasuko Kobayashi for adapting the manga for the small screen and composer, Hiroyuki Sawano for the wondeful soundtrack. Also, cheers to the cast and crew and especially the Wit Studio and Product I.Thou for animation this wondeful anime. I 100% strongly concur you picket this show. :)

Set on on titans review

Warning: Spoilers

The animation is really good and well done. I haven't watched too much activity anime yet just want to and this one was skillful. At first I thought it would be overrated and overhyped and people were saying information technology was adept when it wasn't. Merely it turns out everyone was right this bear witness was great. This anime is very emotional. Then if you lot don't like crying then this might non be for yous. There is a lot of activeness and drama that happens in this story. Information technology went from zippo to hundred in no time so they did a groovy task. The plot wasn't besides fast but at the same time it wasn't besides deadening. And so they got the pacing of the story just right. They did great graphic symbol evolution for sure. The main girl character and Aaron had a smashing human relationship and their chemistry. I was sad when I thought Aaron had died just it turned out he didn't dice then I want happiness when he comes back. It wasn't a totally surprise when he came dorsum he was the master grapheme and as soon as he got eaten I had the thought that he might cut his way out. I mean the style he came back was a niggling different merely he was still back. I wanted to watch each episode and run into what was happening. I wanted to know the answer to my question that I had like where was Aaron father? Who was the second Titan human being that was in the testify? And and then on. Information technology is a dandy show to watch with family. If there would exist i affair I would alter I would brand the theme music that plays at the beginning of the anime to divergence just still strong and wartime and angry, deplorable and all of that. Basically I would modify the song to fit the show more. In that location was a lot of people who tried to modify the world and brand a difference in at that place world in the show.

The word 'Epic' falls short for this anime.

The most hyped up anime of last yr. And it definitely lives up to the hype.

The premise of the anime is that huge humanoid creatures called Titans almost drove humanity to the brink of extinction several 100 years ago. The only way humanity was able to survive was to build huge walls and live inside them. Very interesting stuff, and the story builds upwards nicely too. Since humanity is mostly in the dark most the titans, we equally a viewer are subjected to the same treatment and ho-hum reveals of new info as the plot about them equally the plot moves frontwards is always exciting and shocking. The atmosphere is very grim and desperate. Sadness, hopelessness, loss etc is ever looming overhead, perfect for this type of premise.

This anime has an extremely EPIC!! experience to it. The soundtrack, the speeches, the motivational talk, and of course the action, all have the highest level of epicness applied to them. In fact, the word 'Epic' falls short to describing it. And this is the strength of the anime. Underneath all this epic layer, you will find a large set of interesting characters, subplots and conflicts, all of which are far from existence the best simply are adept enough. The protagonist is a good mix of shonen ingredients with nix in excessive quantity. Its the EPIC layer over it which amplifies everything and even the elementary stuff becomes awesome.

The blitheness quality is superb, one of the best I have seen so far in an anime. The environs, huge fights and fast movements of the characters using there gears is beautifully imagined and rendered. So pretty!! The action was OH Then SATISFYING. I can't express how awesome it was, extremely adrenaline fueled and impactful.

Soundtrack, like I mentioned before, is epic. Loud orchestral pieces like the ones you gear in end of the earth type videos really amplify the on screen activeness.

On the downsides, it sometimes abruptly shifted tones, which was somewhat distracting. Too, some of the later episodes had slower pacing, which normally wouldn't have been a carp but seeing how explosive the earlier episodes were contrasted the later slower ones.

Overall, an amazing Epic anime. 1 of the best I have seen. I haven't this much fun/enjoyment watching an anime since Fate/Cipher (Another epic anime). If yous withal haven't watched this anime, finish everything and watch it asap, if nothing else you'll at least savour the epicness. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

But an crawly, entertaining Series

Attack ON TITAN Flavor two REVIEW

I saw the outset season a couple of years ago, then it sort of disappeared for awhile before I finally got to watch season two just now on Netflix (cheers, Netflix).

And flavor 2 was just as practiced as season 1, full of mysteries, twists, sub plots and of course activeness. The horror attribute of the serial also works very well, a bunch of zombie giants going effectually and dealing death to humans in gruesome means.

Some of the subplots are a flake besides melodramatic, though, and some doesn't seem to make too much sense, only overall, it just somehow works as a very entertaining anime series.

Looking forrard to watching season 3 and the last season 4.

Autonomously from Naruto, AOT is the only other anime that I've bothered watching and it's ane of the best shows I've ever watched. The storyline is unique and the characters are great. The manga isn't completed yet and I'one thousand really excited to basically re-experience the manga in anime form considering the manga is uncoloured.

Pulls you lot into the story correct abroad and never lets go.

Warning: Spoilers

I had such a hard getting through some stuff shown in this testify, but at the same time I had such a hard time stopping. Information technology's a fascinating premise with stellar animation, style, and likable characters, the primary essence to a great anime.

After living a century of peace, humanity is at a war with the titans again later they alienation the very wall that humanity has secluded itself into. After watching his mother existence eaten live by a titan, Eren Jaeger makes it his life's goal to join the Survey Corps along with his friends, Armin and Mikasa, and wipe all titans off the face of the Earth, but Eren becomes humanities unexpected last hope after revealing his ability to become a titan himself, which questions the meaning of humanity and the truth backside the titans.

This is a hard lookout sometimes. The titans are not merely insanely creepy, but watching them mutilate and eat humans live is really unpleasant, involving multiple torturous deaths. It makes you lot feel and care for the chief characters much more than and their determination to set things right, despite being terrified of dying. The themes of the story focus a lot on the will to live, the courage to make sacrifices, and how the fright of humanity is its downfall for non stepping up.

The story gets progressively more interesting. We meet our characters, the conflict beings immediately, setting their motive, and nosotros become through all the hell they experience which makes united states of america sad and mad and scared when they are. It gets way more than in depth, and flavor 2 isn't even out, nevertheless the number of questions are endless.

All the characters, while experiencing development hiccups here and there, are all very likable characters. Eren is fierce, fell, and determined, and you hear his thoughts so you lot know what he's feeling, Arwin is mannerly, smart, and all around fun, and Mikasa is confident and caring. Them and more are very supportive of each of the character's obstacles.

When I first heard this story, it sounded like a background crusade that would be the secondary conflict in a bigger story. Titan fighting kind of felt like the sentinels in the Matrix movies, but instead information technology'south the principal jolt of the story, information technology'south the whole point, which is truly fascinating.

Overall, it'southward definitely worth checking out, not just because of the astonishing story, but the progressive involvement in the story. Even better animes like Expiry Annotation has slow pacing here and at that place, only this one gets more than and more interesting by the episode. One of my top v favorites of all time, and I'm super excited for the 2d season in 2016.
